New tricks....
Hi friends! We hope you are keeping warm and finding some fun things to do indoors on this last little stretch of winter. Greyson is on the move...faster and faster all the time. He just hasn't quite mastered that little thing called walking yet. And who needs to walk when you are as efficient at crawling as he is! We've been having so much fun playing and he continues to love books and stacking cups but has started to enjoy building with Mega Blocks and push toys that you can walk behind or ride on. He's discovered how to get your attention (by hitting or biting)...and we've been working on our 'no-no no's'. And we don't really need many toys around our house when we have doors to open and close and light switches to turn on and off and on and off and on and off. He is so full of energy (wonder where he gets that from?) and couldn't be a happier baby boy toddler. And each new thing that he does, brings such excitement to us, that we often find ourselves saying "oh, we can't wait to take him here next year or to do this, this summer" but he's growing up so much faster than anyone ever told us he would. We're going to savor every snuggle, hit love tap, nibble, and hearing ma-ma, da-da and live in this moment as long as we can. (Remember when to turn the music to pause before you play the videos).

Claire Frances Hanchak
SHE is here! Claire was born on Wednesday (Feb. 9th) weighing 8 pounds and 20 inches long...and we rolled into Chicago 2 days later to meet her for the first time. She is stunning...I mean it! Her complexion is flawless, she has the perfect little lips and very fine dark brown hair...and the longest...longest....longest fingers and feet you've ever seen on a 'fresh' one. Graham is already enjoying changing poopy diapers and eagerly greeting anyone who walks through the front door because he secretively wants to open presents. Bradley and Lacey...congratulations! We are over the moon about a girl in the Hanchak family and thank you so much for allowing us to be there when you got home from the hospital...we love you both! And Graham, Graham, the next time Ju-Ju visits...we will make a special trip to Target!

Read....
Greyson LOVES books...almost more than any other 'toy', which is kinda cool that he thinks they are toys and has so much fun being read to. I made these book slings in his room (thank you Sally for the expert sewing tips) to create a little book nook for him his mommy, who will snuggle up with him and read a silly story any day.
